This text analyzes the modernization of the gender regime from domestic to public patriarchy as a consequence of both capitalist expansion and feminism. WebbPatriarchy within a particular caste or class also differs in terms of their religious and regional variations. Similarly subordination of women in developed countries is different from what it is in developing countries.
