WebJul 27, 2024 · I have an LS1 swap into a kit car. It will crank, but it will not start. Some things of note: It does not seem to command an injector pulsewidth. VATS has been disabled, and I performed a full write. Noid lights show no injector activity. Spark tester shows no spark. The fuel pump does kick on. Tried a number of times to re-start it and It would crank, fire up and immediately and then stall. I cought it with some revs on the gas pedal and it hung in there for a few seconds and then died...

WebSep 16, 2024 · Defaults should make that motor run. Tuning at first start is not a good idea. It shouldn't die. Most likely you are not getting a good +12V to the unit. The ECU doesn't respond well to a weak electrical system. Be sure you have +12V at start and more once the alternator kicks in.
