But since WOW doesn't use sheaths and swords just magically stick to your back like your spine is made of magnets, it really doesn't matter one way or the other.

There is a glyph, that makes you attack with your fists all the time, even with jab (Which is the only attack the monk uses weapons with) I do hope, they will implement a glyph, that lets the monk wield weapons all the time.
